Help! AntiVir Hoax Virus

How do I get rid of the Antivir Virus? We accidentally downloaded it as it looks like McAfee software on the popup. Now our computer is unusable with all of the pop-ups and it's continuos efforts to block us from doing anything. Thanks, Brad.
